On Monday 2nd November we'll meet to discuss 'Anything is Possible' by Elizabeth Strout. At the lesson we will have a small grammar section on the past perfect. The first chapter has lots of examples of this tense which we will analyse to see whether the text would have been different if the author had chosen to use the past simple instead.
If you want to find out a bit more about the book and the author, you could watch this video. I'm really enjoying the book so far, I just wish that I had read the other Lucy Barton book first.
For a full list of all the books that we've read, check out this post.
See you all in November!
